Global and Project Schedule Services have been updated to HTML5 and streamlined into a single page (available from the Administer menu). New Administration tab (this appears to the right of the Reports tab). View calendar: EPS, Activities, Resource Assignments, and Resource Administration pages. Add columns for Project, WBS, and Activity UDFs on the Resource Assignments page. Add WBS Notes, including their activities on the Activities page. This enhancement to the Activities page also allows Classic (Java) and Standard (HTML5) views to be exported and then imported as Standard user views. Import/Export from the Activities page. Capacity Planning (scenarios not available in the new standard view). Assignments page (this includes resource allocation analysis). Activity Network (Including Trace Logic). Java has proved to delayed the product going forward and it’s been at least 2 years since the team announced P6 EPPM was moving to HTML5 Pages Updated to HTML5 in P6 17.7
Oracle continue migrating Primavera P6 EPPM from its Java-based platform to HTML5. What’s New in Primavera P6 EPPM Release 17.7 Primavera Cloud customers are receiving updates much more often than on-premise users, a strategy to encourage companies to migrate to the Primavera Cloud. Primavera P6 that releases are now being rolled-out to Primavera Cloud first, with a general release coming to on-premise customers later.
